“He has also set eternity in the human heart”
The daughter of the leader of the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas is sharing her supernatural testimony story of leaving Islam and believing in Jesus Christ, CBN News reported on the 27th.
Juman Al Qawasmi was born and raised in Gaza, growing up as the daughter of one of Hamas’s founding leaders. She was even married to a Hamas fighter. From childhood, she was taught to hate Israel and Jews, and to curse Christians.
“We used to curse Christians and Jews. We believed we should kill them because that’s what the Quran said. We were even taught that Jesus would return to fight with us, break the cross, kill the pig, and that trees and rocks would call out, ‘Oh Muslim, there is a Jew behind me—come and kill him.’ Looking back now, it’s crazy,” she recalled.
She remembers 2007, when Hamas seized full control of Gaza, and says she witnessed the group’s violence and brutality firsthand. “They even killed fellow Palestinians just to strengthen their power. Hamas wanted everyone to be terrified and to submit to them,” she said. “Islam never gave me peace. I was always afraid something bad would happen.”
Longing for peace and truth, she prayed one day with desperation: “God, if You exist, I want to know You. I want to meet You. Deep inside, I knew there was a God.”
Soon after, she had a supernatural encounter in a dream. She saw Jesus, who spoke to her in Arabic, saying, “You are My daughter. Do not be afraid.” After this encounter, Al Qawasmi decided to follow Jesus Christ and says she finally found true peace and lasting hope. (Source : CBN, Edited Version)

God, thank You for giving people a desire for eternity and for meeting Al Qawasmi at the right time, after she had lived so long in fear and deception under Hamas. We pray that You would rebuke Hamas for brainwashing people to curse Christians and Jews, and for using violence and killing to force others into submission. Help them realize that there is judgment after death, and lead them to repentance. Lord, for the many souls in Gaza who still do not know the truth and live in constant fear, please reveal the heart of the Creator God who made everything beautiful in its time. May they come to know the true peace that Jesus Christ accomplished through the cross, and may they receive and enjoy that peace in their lives.
