Please Pray for our beloved Chinese brothers and sisters and Share this message widely.
14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. 16 Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.(Romans 12:14-16,NIV)
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ :
Shalom!
Thank you, dear members of the body of Christ, for offering your daily prayers as a fragrant sacrifice before the Lord. The Lord, who reigns on high, surely hears them, and His grace is new every morning. David once cried out to God in his disterss : “How long, O Lord? Will you forget me forever? Consider and answer me, O Lord my God! Lest my enemy say, ‘I have prevailed over him,’ lest my foes rejoice because I am shanken.” Now, though the enemy surrounds us like bulls, like the wild oxen of Bashan, “but we have trusted in the steadfast love of the Lord; our hearts shall rejoice in His salvation, because He has dealt bountifully with us”(Psalm 13).
Please continune to pray for the following:
1. Pray for the heart for unity among the imprisoned ministers.
Male and female ministers have been detained seperately, and many have no opportunity to see or communicated with others. This isolation poses a great challenge to their mental state and their soul. May the Lord grant them the Spirit of Unity, that even when they cannot be with other believers, they would still know that they are not alone – for the Spirit of the Lord is with them in prison, and the prayers of the saints are ever surrounding them.
2. Pray for the Spirit of wisdom for the imprisoned ministers.
Some have been interrogated for countless times and are physically and mentally exhausted. The enemy seeks to wear down their spirit through repeated questioning to achieve his wicked aims. May the Lord grant them the spirit of wisdom, leaving no room for the enemy’s schemes. As our Lord Jesus said to the twelve disciples: “When they deliver you over, do not be anxious how you are to speak or what you are to say, for what you are to say will be given to you in that hour.”
3. Pray for unity of heart among those outside and for the future of those still serving.
After this incident, many ministers instead found their faith strengthened and began to spread the gospel of Jesus even more widely. Therefore, Please pray that the gospel may overcome every obstacle and be spread among those who have never heard it before. At the same time, as people respond to this event, there may be differing views and understandings – so pray for unity. Continue steadfastly in all the ministries that Zion Church has been carrying out; welcome and accept the plans that the pastoral team had previously prepared, and faithfully do the small tasks entrusted to each one. “One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much.”
4. Pray that the charge of “illegal use of information network” be declared unfounded and inapplicable.
As preachers, using the internet to share the gospel is a calling from the Lord, not a crime. Yet unjust authorities have misused this accusation to impose false charges. The Lord our God is the righteous judge who rules over all justice. Pray that He will bring forth His righteous judgment.
5. Pray that the pastors in prison may obtain access to the Bible.
In whatever form it may come, receiving the Bible means receiving the Word of God – an unceasing source of strength. Please pray that the people in charge will permit the imprisoned pastors to read the Bible or that God will provide another way for them to receive His Word.
The Lord is good; His steadfast love endures forever.
