A massive child exploitation crackdown dubbed “Operation Firewall” in Southern California led to the arrest of 341 suspects and the rescue or identification of 40 child victims, according to reports by Fox News and other media outlets. The operation was carried out from April 19 to May 3 across five regions, including Los Angeles and Orange County, with 112 agencies participating under the leadership of the LAPD Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.
Investigators targeted online grooming, the production and distribution of child sexual abuse material (CSAM), and human trafficking, while warning that crimes involving social media and gaming platforms are rapidly increasing. According to Fox News, one investigation uncovered more than 150,000 illegal images during the operation. God, we thank You for the large-scale crackdown on child sexual exploitation that led to the arrest of hundreds of offenders and the rescue of vulnerable children. May the agencies united in this operation recognize that whoever receives even one little child in the name of Jesus Christ receives You, and may they rely on You as they carry out their work. Lord, we ask You to rescue every child in America who has been exposed to sexual abuse and exploitation, and deliver them. Heal their wounded bodies and hearts through the power of the Gospel. Lead them to Christ and restore this next generation, so that the blessing of new life may flow throughout America.
