“I, the LORD, have called you in righteousness, and I will make you to be a light for the Gentiles.”
Evangelical Focus recently reported that various ministries and churches, including the Bible Alliance, New Life Church, and TACO artist group, collaborated to organise an evangelistic tour across Albania. This evangelistic tour took place from the 25th of June to the 6th of July, covering 10 cities and towns throughout Albania, connecting people interested in the Gospel with local churches that could provide ongoing support.
The evangelistic team organised by Pastor Sabri Kasemi has been travelling throughout Albania every summer for several years, sharing the Gospel through art, music, circus performances, drama, and testimonies. All the artists are Christians and after they shared how they came to accept Jesus, Pastor Sabri then preached the Gospel and led the audience in prayer.
Approximately 5,000 people heard the Gospel and about 300 decided to learn more about Jesus During this evangelistic tour. After each event, the organisers distributed cards with the names of these individuals to local church pastors, who would guide them in their next steps of faith or discipleship training.
Alesio Sema, the Secretary General of the Evangelical Alliance of Albania, said, “The Word of God teaches us to preach the Gospel in season and out of season,” adding, “I am confident that the seeds planted in the hearts of the Albanian people will bear fruit someday.”
In addition to the nationwide tour, the Evangelical Alliance of Albania plans to conduct four more evangelistic tours in Tirana this summer with the Tirana Church Union and the Ndër Breza (Intergenerational) Worship Band.
Sema said, “I am very thankful to the Ndër Breza Worship Band, whose drive made these events possible. We thank God for seeing the lost accept Jesus Christ as their Savior through the cooperation of the Tirana churches.”
The Secretary General of the Evangelical Alliance of Albania requested prayers for God’s provision for two other events scheduled on the 26th of July and the 6th of September. (Source: Gospel Prayer Newspaper).

I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people and a light for the Gentiles, to open eyes that are blind, to free captives from prison and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness. I am the LORD; that is my name! I will not yield my glory to another or my praise to idols.” (Isaiah 42:6-8)
God, we thank You for the day of salvation, where churches and organisations united to spread the Gospel and bear fruit in obedience to Your command to preach the Gospel in season and out of season. Pour Your heart into the ministers participating in this work and let more souls come to hear the blessed news of Jesus and glorify Your name during the remaining schedules. Let the body of Christ respond to Your call for us to be a light to the Gentiles, and through our obedience, may Your proclamation to free the blind and the captives resound across the nations.
