“Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret.”
[Oct.18.2022]UK Department of Education removed trans rights group from mental health and wellbeing resources for schools and universities. This was at the request of a Christian parent who expressed concern over the Ministry’s transgender acceptance policy.
The Ministry of Education agreed last month to pay legal fees and review existing transgender guidelines for schools, after reaching an agreement with Christian parent Nigel-Sally Rowe last month, according to UK Christian Today (CT).
The UK Christian Legal Center Christian Concern issued a welcome statement after the Ministry of Education removed the transgender group Mermaids from its consultation list as the first step in the review process.
Christian Concern CEO Andrea Williams said: “We are delighted to see this very small but significant change. It was possible as Nigel-Sally Lowe has gathered extensive evidence about the transgender policies that the Ministry of Education has implemented.”
“Without their courageous challenge, the change of the Ministry of Education would not have been possible,” he said. “The government must do whatever it takes to stop the transgender policy,” he stressed.
In addition, Christian Concern is also conducting a campaign to review the recent issue of the British Anglican Church’s “Valuing All God’s Children” policy.
“The policy reflects the trans ideology, allowing students to choose their preferred gender identity,” Williams said. “Even though there is a lot of evidence that affirming gender reassignment in young children is damaging, they are ignoring it,” he said.
“If the Anglican Church does not change these guidelines, it will hurt many Christians and fail to protect millions of children,” he added. (Source: Daily Good News).
Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death. See what this godly sorrow has produced in you: what earnestness, what eagerness to clear yourselves, what indignation, what alarm, what longing, what concern, what readiness to see justice done. At every point you have proved yourselves to be innocent in this matter. (2 Corinthians 7:10-11)
God, thank You for the change in the Ministry of Education’s transgender policy brought on by a Christian parent in the UK. May You stop the evil attempts of the world to make children turn away from the truth and lead them toward destruction. God, please protect the next generation through Your intervention and through the prayers of those who obey Your Will. May the Church of England lead the souls of this land to repentance and salvation, and serve You with purity by resisting the world.
